On your marks - Project 1 Pot Holder Set - Project 2 Placemat GO! - Project 3 Window & Cafe Curtains Two of the projects are enclosed with this Issue, simply contact your supplier for a copy of the third project or log onto www.nehoc.com.au/GOCCOclub. Use your computer Prepare your artwork/ design on the computer. There are heaps of ways you can get designs - clipart CDs, the Internet, scan an image or of course draw one from scratch. If you dont have a special graphics program installed (such as PhotoShop), you can use the Windows Paint Program. Use your GOCCO Printing with GOCCO is cheaper than using inkjet printers and you can print colourful metallics plus also embossing your prints for an amazing effect (something your inkjet wont allow you to do). Use your computer created artwork and make a screen in your GOCCO. Print the front of your cards in colour - Metallic Gold and Bronze are great for Christmas, along with traditional Red and Green. Allow to dry and then finish off in the computer. Use your computer Now you have printed your design in brilliant colour, use your computer to print messages on the inside of the cards by opening your word processing program. Change the page size to A5 (you can also manually adjust to the card size), divide the page into two columns and then put you text into the computer and finally print onto your card. |

HANDY HINTS - Get
your printing up to speed
Hint 2: Dont try and print too fast straight away - let your body, hands and head, get accustomed to handling the materials in a set order and establish a printing rhythm.
Hint 4: When printing big quantities, split your job into smaller sections say 100 pieces. When these 100 have been printed take a quick break and also use the time to perform the quick checks listed above. Hint 5: Printing fast has little to do with the actual printing motion (this is the same for fast or slow), but more about how you pick up and align the materials, remove from your machine and place to dry. |
